Attending a training workshop is the first step to becoming a certified labor doula.

Saturday

Session One: The role of the doula

Session Two: A doula during pregnancy

Session Three: A doula during early labor

Session Four: A doula during active labor + delivery

Session Five: A doula during early postpartum

Sunday

Hands-on skills and simulations

Session Six: Preparing for life as a doula

Session Seven: Running a doula business

The Beautiful Cottage

The two-day labor doula training will take place at the beautiful Cottage at Graystone Quarry located in Franklin, thirty miles south of Nashville, Tennessee. This comfortable three-story home is the perfect location for an intimate gathering of birth professionals.

Meals
We will provide light refreshments and coffee in the morning and we will provide pre-packaged snacks throughout the training. However, lunch will be on you. There will be 90-minute lunch break.
