Harbor Birth Institute is an in-person, comprehensive birth doula certification program based in Franklin, Tennessee. 

We offer in-person trainings as well as mentorship and certification.

At HBI, you get an exciting, all-inclusive training and certification that will propel you into the birth career of your dreams. 

All of our trainers are certified doulas and birth workers who have grown our own solo practices from the ground up, and have also successfully formed a ground breaking, full service doula agency together. With our combined knowledge, experience, and passion for birth work, you will learn all you need, including hands-on experience, business skills, mentorship, and gain an invaluable community.

DAY ONE -

• 7:30am - Registration

• 8:00am - Session One

• 10:00am - Session Two

• 11:00am - Session Three

• 12:00pm - Lunch

• 2:00pm - Session Four

• 4:00pm - Session Five

• 6:00pm - End of first day

DAY TWO -

• 8:00am - Hands on simulations

• 10:00am - Session Six

• 12:00pm - Lunch

• 1:00pm - Session Seven

• 3:00pm - End of training

Our doula workshops are a full day Saturday (til 6pm) and Sunday (til 3pm).

Our placenta encapsulation workshops are 9AM - 3PM on a Saturday.
