  • I really enjoyed the role playing Krissy and Asha did. I am a very visual learner, so it is so helpful to see the things we are talking about played out in real time. HBI was so fulfilling. The group of women was so diverse, yet we all had a common passion and goal. The instructors were relatable, honest, and clearly experts in the field. They honored our questions and our stories. We laughed, had meaningful discussion, and grew as doulas and as women! I am a labor and delivery nurse and felt like I learned a completely new aspect of birth care.
