Placenta Encapsulation Training Details

In this in-person, hands-on workshop, you will explore the history, safe preparation methods, and step-by-step encapsulation process of the placenta. This training is your first crucial step toward earning the credential CPES (HBI)—Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist through Harbor Birth Institute. What truly distinguishes our program is that you’ll witness an entire placenta encapsulation from start to finish, giving you rare, real-time experience that sets HBI apart from many others.

We are passionate about empowering our students—providing the education, tools, and ongoing support you need to confidently offer excellent placenta encapsulation services to your clients.

  • Introductions

  • Anatomy of the Placenta

  • Hormones

10:00 - 11:00 am

  • Possible benefits of placenta encapsulation

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Placenta 

  • TCM and Lactation 

  • TCM Fatigue & Anemia

11:00 - 11:30 am

  • Review requirements for certification, scope of practice, etc.

11:30 - 12:30 pm

  • Lunch Break

12:30 - 2:30 pm

  • The Process of Encapsulation-Tutorial. You will be a part of a hands-on process from start to finish.

2:30 - 3:30 pm

  • Wrap Up/Questions

*Note - Attending a training workshop is the first step to becoming a certified placenta encapsulator.
